RENOMIZE Partners Visit Timbeco's Advanced Manufacturing Facility in Estonia

On 19 May 2026, partners of the RENOMIZE project gathered in Estonia for a visit to the Timbeco factory, providing an opportunity to explore innovative approaches to industrialised construction and prefabrication. The visit offered project partners valuable insight into the practical implementation of manufacturing processes that support efficient and high-quality building construction and renovation.

Located in Tõdva, the Timbeco factory specialises in the production of prefabricated building elements and modular houses. During the visit, participants were introduced to the facility's manufacturing processes, digital workflow systems and quality management practices. The factory combines advanced production technologies with digital tools for quality control, work management and process coordination.

Partners also learned about Timbeco's approach to workplace organisation and safety, including the implementation of structured operational practices designed to support efficiency, quality and a safe working environment.

For the RENOMIZE consortium, the visit provided an important opportunity to connect project objectives with real-world industrial practices. Observing modern production methods first-hand helped strengthen understanding of how automation, digitalisation and process optimisation can contribute to faster, more efficient and more sustainable renovation solutions.
